You would need to be ALOT more specific...   your post, as it is makes no sense and contains no details other than a vague reference to some sort of mod you refer to as "legend mod"

The legend can be shown by default in 2.x. Just go to Admin>>Configuration>>Current Theme and Make sure "Show group key on board index:" is checked.

It has to be checked in each individual theme if you are using more than one.
