Option to make URLS have alternate text

Until I upgraded to 2.0, I had the capability to post an URL, but make the link say what I wanted. I don't see how to do that or a mod for this. Anyone have this in 2.0?

that has never been an option on SMF, sorry, sounds like you have been using a mod such as Pretty URLS:

Yes that is what I mean. I used to get a popup box for the hyperlink and then a 2nd pop up for text. I don't remember it being a mod though. Now when I hit the hyperlink button it just inserts the url code

that would be the WYSIWYG editor (which is buggy in other ways) versus the normal text editor.

set in admin, set in profile or click the toggle view button in the editor per message
