Forum crashed last week so had to do fresh install...

Every mod I've installed since where you are supposed to get a notification such as the Arcade, Joker's likes (uninstalled now) I get no notifications.  Anyone know what the problem might be?

oops, I think this hsould be in 2.1+...I have the newest verison of SMF

Regardless of the version you're running (you shouldn't use 2.1 in a production site, 'ya know? ) you need to check with the MOD authors. Most likely they aren't yet supporting 2.1 so...

i think the op is talking about the green/red icons that show up when you view the main page of the package manager. i really would not keep track of if you are updated or not with those.

What I mean is, The Arcade I downloaded claims if your score is beat you will get a notification (PM).  I just installed that one today.

Before my forum crashed, I had Joker like button installed and it would send alerts if someone liked your post now no alerts work except for the mentions mod. Was wondering if something in the dbase was messed up?

Well, if you did a fresh install --then you removed all mods

Yes I put back up all the mods and some new ones like the arcade one today.  Ever since the forum crashed from a faulty mod, the new mods I've installed don't sendalerts when they claim that they do or send pm's when they claim to do so.

I see you are the creator of the likes mod!  I have that one installed now instead of the joker one.  Thanks!  Love it!  I'd like to somehow get alerts if someone likes a post.  That one is the most important if there is anyway you can do that, I'll gladly donate to you.
