Live thread in multiple boards

Is there a way to have 1 thread shown live and active in 2 or more sub-forums? So the topic's are linked together?

not without a mod (and, other than the Global sticky mod, I don't know of any that would do this)

It pretty much defeats the purpose of forum organization...
