Embedding .gifv

Let's face it.
.gif is pretty much dead, since imgur and reddit almost exclusively use the .gifv format right now.
(Why? .gifv are 10 times smaller than gifs)

Only problem is; how do I make these images work on SMF?

It could be done by taking advantage of the html5 video tag or a good old iframe tag, it depends on how imgurl shares videos/images.

I'm not familiar with those gif/video images, I only use imgur to post plain regular images so if you have a few examples of this new format that will be great.

We can embed gif files with img bbcode but same does not apply for gifv

UPDATE: Suki made gifv embed possible with her mod, but only in firefox & chrome. (does not work on iOS or internet explorer)
