hi guys, yesterday, i got this message from a member:

Quotetoday there was like a dozen spam posts in the subforums i regularly check out. i reported the first maybe 4, but after that it locked me out saying i was reporting to mod too often and had to wait before i could report again.
anyway, have you guys had a problem with people using report to mod too often or can you up the max you can report before it locks you out? I was going thru and reporting each thread but couldn't get half of them reported

is it a valid complaint ? if so, where can i change this threshold ?

It is the same limit that is used to prevent people from spamming topics or posts. I would not recommend changing it.

Thank you, I will take your advice on that but still can't help thinking that I might need to DECREASE it if that's the case.

Where can I find the setting please ?

You really want to make it easier for people to spam your forum????
Holder of controversial views, all of which my own.

Quote from: HelpHere you can select the amount of time that must pass between postings. This can be used to stop people from "spamming" your forum by limiting how often they can post.
