mod_sec and SMF

Posting about this because I know it has been an issue. I just installed OWASP ModSecurity Core Rule Set V3.0 this morning (had to go VPS so I now have control over this sort of thing) and it is working well so far. The problems I had previously (inability to install mods or upgrade SMF) have disappeared) and my users are no longer reporting the issues they had under the last set.

which version of SMF are you using?

Can't say I'm entirely surprised. The stock ruleset was tested against both 2.0 and 2.1 when I was on the dev team, though of course everything has been tweaked since then.
