Parse error need help

I am a total newbie at this so do not be afraid to dumb down your answers...thanks in advance.

when i try to view, or make a post i get this error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /home/sicyonxy/public_html/forum/Themes/default/Display.template.php on line 1136


I looked through /Themes/default/Display.template.php and cannot find any issue I removed the "}" on line 1136 when that did not work I added an extra "}" . both did no change., I feel pretty stupid cause i can usually fix things on my own. Any help is appreciated..

Are you running SMF 2.1?

Did you just install a "referrals" mod? Your code started breaking up around line 572.

The attached file is a cleaned up copy of yours, but there may be things in there that don't work as expected due to the apparent mis-install of some mod or other.
