Global Ban

Hello,

Recently, I have noticed an issue appearing on my smf 2.0.14 forum, thing is if an admins bans a user all other users will get banned as well with same reason and same ban duration.

However the ban is issued to the single user only but the message is viewed to all other users on forum, and its like they're banned as well.

how are you banning the one user?

I will bet that
1- you are attempting to ban by IP
and
2- you are using cloudflare or some other proxy service.

Simply by clicking on user profile > action > ban.

No I am not using cloudflare, and yes I do ban the IP. Specific user's IP not everyone.

Well, first of all, you should not ban by ip, in general...

Second, the only way that banning one user would affect others is because you banned by ip and have others that trigger the same ip
