Field 'about_me' doesn't have a default value

Hi everyone
Suddenly I cannot add new members to my forum though it was working yesterday

Field 'about_me' doesn't have a default value

looks like you installed a mod at some point that added a field called "about me".
Your host upgraded the mySQL installation.
the mod author never mput a default value for that field.

so...   go to your database (phpmyadmin)
find the about_me field (might be int he members table)
change the column to have a default value of NULL

Indeed there is a filed "about_me" in the _members table
Changing it now..... and the problem has gone away.
