Request to star image filename

How to used Star image filename? i don't need star i want change use another image filename.

Go to Admin/Configuration drop-menu/Themes and Layout/Modify Themes/ YOUR THEME /Browse the templates and files in this theme/images  - there you will see staradmin.gif , stargmod.gif and starmod.gif .
You can notice that there are so many images there so you will have to create folder with name like memberg_icon and there you can place new icons. Icons should be .gif or .png .
Now you know location where you should add new folder and new icons, so go to your hosting cPanel and find it there, only there you can do things like this, at least from what I know and add icons.
Now imagine we have a new icon with name ADMINISTRATOR.png in new folder memberg_icon, so you need full path to your icon so your icon can work. New path should be /Themes/YOUR THEME/images/memberg_icon/ADMINISTRATOR.png
Now test does it work. Go to Admin/Members/Membergroups... and click on membergroup where you want to add a new icon. Ideally easiest to learn is to pick Moderator (?) and there you will see Star image filename:. Default stars there can be staradmin.gif , stargmod.gif and starmod.gif and I guess for Moderator (?) is starmod.gif in that field, but if you created new folder with name memberg_icon, you will have to use this in that field memberg_icon/ADMINISTRATOR.png . When you add or copy/paste location there, and while your cursor is still active in that field with icon, press TAB on your keyboard so page will lead you to next option bellow and it will automatically show you if you did it like it should be done, if not then something went wrong.

Note: Number of stars must be 1


Be patient, sometimes you might wait even for days until you get desired response to your topic, so when you post, wait, if there is 2 days no reply then ask in topic again so others can notice your topic.

Number of star images - Membergroups can have small images to appear below the group inside of posts made by members of the group. Here you can configure how many of these images you want to show for the group. This option is only shown when modifying an existing group
Star image filename - Here you can select the filename of where the image you want to use should be taken from. Like the option above it, this option is only shown when modifying an existing group. As indicated next to this field, the image to be called should be uploaded to {theme URL}/images/. So each theme of yours should have an image with the specified filename available.



don't get hung up on the fact that it's called a "star image" --  that is just how the group icon is called.

You need to upload your images to the /images/ directory IN EVERY THEME that you have.
once the file is uploaded there (either by ftp or by the host file manager) then you can just put the filename into the field referenced above.
e.g.  mygroupicon.png
