Database Error after reinstalling?

I recently installed a fresh SMF 2.0.17 board and imported my old database file.  There were a few problems with attachments not displaying, however that is now working.

There is a new problem, when trying to make a post I get a database error:

"It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 2.0.17, while your database is at version 2.0.11. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php."

What is the easiest way to resolve this?  Is it a matter of making a new backup of the database, uninstall the new SMF 2.0.17 board, install a SMF 2.0.11 board and import the new database and then upgrade to 2.0.17?

I run the 2.0.17 upgrade, which cleared the incorrect version error.
However, I still have the "Duplicate entry '0' for key 'PRIMARY'
File: /home/sites/****.co.uk/public_html/forum/Sources/Subs-Post.php
Line: 1834" error

Please can someone help?

You can disregard the database version error, there were no db changes from .11 to .17.

Try that, install the upgrades from .11 to .17 with package manager, see if it fixes the error.
When in Emor, do as the Snamors.
