Still works, using 1.24.4, php 7.4. A great piece of software for backups and more.

Someone with some time at hand could hopefully ensure it's future existence and support. There was a successful fix to get it to work for php 7.* some years ago, since then it's been troublefree. I got the impression not much work would be needed to keep it supported and updated for a long time to come.

Doesn't work on some hosts (GoDaddfy, iirc), don't know if they're blocking it or it's just their crappy servers.
