Permissions for guest, registered members and members with an membership card

As a newbie it is sometimes difficult to find something that's why the question. How can I set the portal to be seen by guests and set the forum per board permissions for guests, registered members and everything for members with a membership card. sorry for my bad English

Firstly make sure you allow the General: "Guests can see the forum" setting.
This will make sure guests can see the Portal and the Forum sections.

Then you can set per Board what groups may access it: this will give these groups 'display' on the boards and the items.

Then in the group permissions for each membergroup you can set per group if they can read posts and/or create posts and/or reply to posts...
Then in the Portal (TinyPortal) you can set the display permissions for each block...
