Sub-menus won't show on mobile phone.

Unlike the admin button which produces a second hamburger, or the "moderate" button that shows a proper pop-out submenu (sideways), I cannot get a sub-menu I created to work on my iphone.  Rather, pressing the menu button I added just takes you to your profile page.

However, it works on desktop just fine: it's a "help" button that has two sub-menu items that take you to email pages.

I asked over on Ant's Mutant theme, but given the other sub-menus do as they're told it feels like an SMF error I made somewhere.
