timezone don't work properly.. always showing same timezone..

hi all,

I just installed smf 2.1 but forum time never changed whatever timezone I've choosen from the timezone menu. even if I choosed +6 hours or -4 hours forum time didn't changed.

time is here now 20:12 but forum is showing 17:12 even if I choose +3 in timezone.

my system time is correct. forum time is showing -3 hours than system time. I dont know where smf find that time?

I've added timezone to the php.ini files but no effect.

I couldn't find out the problem?

There are two timezone settings, one for the admin and one for the user.
Make sure you get the admin one right first, then check your profile second.

thanks for the reply. you are right. my profile settings were incorrect. is there any way to make default timezone for every user?

Have to say I'm unsure, but I would expect the one you set for the forum in admin would be defaulted to new members.
You can test this quite easily if you want
