Trying to remove/change setting in 2..1.2

"Show last modification date on modified posts"

There seems to be a setting for the above, but I don't find it. I wish to remove "Last post: Oct 30, 2022, 14:42:54" shown on the main board behind all board names.

These are two different things, the setting you quoted shows a modification date and time on a post that has been modified. The last post dates and times on board index are not configurable, and you would need to edit the template or find a theme that doesn't show them.
