Hi. Did you ever solved that problem? I have the same issue on the test forum after upgrading it (a bit late, I know ) to the 2.1.3 version.

normal login does not work, but if I switch language to english (it has to be german) and set the maintainance mode = 0, there is a login field at the top of the page and THAT works.

now I have to find out how to fix that and found this topic - even it is old, perhaps you can remember the solution?

The maintenance should always be 0 for the forum to be opened. From what version did you upgrade from and was there any other moficiation/change done to the forum besides the upgrade, prior to this happening? WHat mods do you have installed? Are you using the default theme or a custom one?
