What I want to do is create a forum with the following properties
Regular members cannot see it even exixts
Executive Member group have full access

I created the Ex. Group but did not add any members (yet)
in the Ex BOARD I unchecked everyone except the Ex Group.

Everyone uses the same profile.

I searched the forum and saw Arantor's Post about how to do this and I think That's exactly what I did.

I then logged out and then back in with a non-admin account (verified that I did not see the "Admin" in the menu) and I was able to see the forum and the single post in it.

What am I missing?

DUH I wasn't an admin but I WAS a global moderator ...

You have to set Allowed Groups in board settings, and Visible Boards in the group settings.
When in Emor, do as the Snamors.

I tried to do basically the same thing in one of my forums BUT still reg members could see the Board soooo I made it a Password Protect (app is in the downloads here)
Then  those without the password could NOT SEE or Post Nuttin  in the Board   but could see the Board. Maybe  this would work for ya .

not necessary...     assigning a single group works just fine for both visibility and access unless  A) you have something that break the core functionality or b) you have missed something (like a post count group) with access.
