Hi there,

Is there a way to display that a user is banned, around its username? Some forums cross out the banned user name, and some have a special colour or mark.

If this feature exists in SMF, how to get it configured?

Thank you.

does not exist...  there have been mods to do it, but I don't think any are updated

Create new membergroup called "Banned" with minimal permissions, and put there all banned users.

Why would you want someone who is banned to have ANY permissions?

I have granted to Banned group only 2 permissions: "View the calendar" and "Search for posts and topics"

It was more to show the status to other users, as some forums allow this.
