Hi,

I have enabled the option in the admin panel "Old BBC tags" I marked them all.
When I make a new post I see that the [move] tag is not working, everything I put between [moves] doesn't move.
I LOVE SMF

Illori

does it work in any browser? it is possible your browser does not support it any longer.

I tried with two browsers (Google Chrome and Mozila Firefox) and on two different computers and it doesn't work.
I LOVE SMF

It is not working on this forum apparently either.  ;D

Please do not PM, IM or Email me with support questions.  You will get better and faster responses in the support boards.  Thank you.

If you click on the help text for the "Legacy BBC tags" setting, you will see the following:

QuoteLegacy BBCodes are obsolete and cannot be used in new posts. However, they will be parsed in existing posts if enabled here.

Enabling legacy BBCodes is only useful if your forum was upgraded from a previous version of SMF.

Also, even when they are enabled, some legacy BBCodes will not be rendered in the same way that they once were. For example, the [flash] BBCode will simply show a link to the Flash content instead of embedding it.

If you really want to bring back the marquee behaviour, you might consider the Stupid bouncy BBC mod.
I promise you nothing.

Ah, okay sesqui... you know your name lol.
Thanks. That explains why on a couple older posts on my forum it works, but not when using [move] tags on newer posts.

Thanks kindred for that info as well.
