Hello. Tell me please. How to add a section in html format to the main page

Illori

add where exactly? you are lacking in details for us to tell you much of anything.

FOxsis

here is the same section only with a different link

Kindred

You can not use HTML in the board descriptions

Your picture does not make sense - Those are not the same sections. The have different names.

Please do not PM, IM or Email me with support questions.  You will get better and faster responses in the support boards.  Thank you.

let's keep it simple)
if I create a section, how do I change the link to another one?

Kindred

You can not.  Sections/categories and boards are created in the SMF admin section --   and the link is automatically created to that specific category or board. You can not create one category and have it link to a different category

because of how SMF works, it cannot be done the way you want.

you could try creating a redirect board and use that to get the user to click and go somewhere else.

Your image doesn't load for me, it's being blocked.  Attach the image to your next post.

Nothing's impossible, some things are more work than others.

What you'd need to change would be in BoardIndex.php, Subs-BoardIndex.php, & BoardIndex.template.php.

Have at it!

Im still not sure what you're trying to do...  Sounds like a simple redirect.

Given what's been stated so far, setting up a board redirect will work, and is standard functionality.
