I'm trying to customize my forum. New to Simple Machine. I followed the instructions to replace the default text header/logo with a custom logo. I know I did something wrong, but I couldn't tell you what. I got this message: "Parse error: parse error, unexpected '/' in /home/hotho2/public_html/forum/Themes/default/index.template.php on line 146" How do I fix this?

This is forum URL: http://www.hothouseflowerdesigns.net/forum/ [nofollow]

What is wrong with this line of code?    <span style="font-family: Georgia, sans-serif; font-size: xx-large;"><img src="', $settings['images_url'], '/IMAGE.GIF" border="0">'</span>';

(I replace IMAGE.GIF with my graphic name, right? And it'll just be "samplegraphic.gif," right? Not "images/samplegraphic.gif"?

Uh, I checked your site, and if your custom logo is 3 flowers, it's there.

Press Alt+F5 next time when you refresh.

Thanks. When I didn't get any responses, I went ahead and figured everything out for myself.

Heaven forbid you do anything like that.

Hmmmm. Not sure the hostility is warranted. Get a life. Or better yet just learn some manners.

Not hostility, sarcasm ;)

My life is actually pretty good, and my manners maybe aren't perfect but then yours are much worse.

"Need help immediately" - Oh yes, what a nice and polite title, a bit demanding dont you think? Its not even something that needed fixed immediately, theme is half done its not even finished, and there is always the default to fall back on.

People did respond, just not with the answer you needed/wanted

No need to be rude Trekkie ;) I often ask questions first, then if I *really* have to work it out for myself get off my ass and do so. No point reinventing the wheel after all :D
I'm only a half geek really...
