Let me start by saying that IPB was definitely my favorite for years.  But SMF is free, whereas IPB costs $200 or so, which is quite a lot for a forum.

I tried SMF a year ago or so, and it just wasn't quite there, but now it's fantastic.  It surpasses all of the other companies in development speed alone!

Anyway, not much more to say that hasn't been said before.

Yeah, SMF is the best! It's really easy to write MODs for (I started writing SMFShop in December 2004, after 4 days experience with SMF )
