Looking to embed IRC chat into either my forums or my website - how do I do this

Essentially I am looking for a free solution.  I do not have the cash to spend on chat software.  Also, I want to use the site as a portal for the chat, not for the acutal chat itself, because I do not have the bandwidth to support chat.

Anyway, an example of this being done is here:

An IRC chat is embedded into the site, and it connects to a specific IRC channel hosted on a server.  That is what I am looking for.

So, anyone have any ideas?

Once we are allowed to make official mods then I will work on converting the Integrated Chat mod into SMF.
