I currently run a SMF on my website. I would like to have two different designs for the forum page appearance with the same database and two different URLs to access the forum.

Example :

hxxp:www.mysite.com/forum_place/Themes/default/index.php [nonactive]
hxxp:www.mysite.com/forum_place/Themes/default/index_2.php [nonactive]

Can you tell me if this is possible and if it is which files need to be modified.

Thanks

Mike

You'd just have them use different ID_THEMEs.  This would be a minor modification to Load.php.

But, why not just have two URLs like this:

http://www.example.com/forum/index.php?theme=1
http://www.example.com/forum/index.php?theme=2

This sounds like a question that I have also.
But mine would be more like this is it possible to have

hxxp:mysite.com/forums [nonactive]
and hxxp:theirsite.com/forums [nonactive]

use the same forum. Share all content and members. But have not only differnet urls I would like them to also be able to use different themes.

This seems like a great addition. I will explian my resoning and maybe it will make more sense.
We currently use smf for our forums and I am in the local music scene, and there are a ton of other sites in our area , all with their own forum. So when you are doing promotion or any covos with other promoters, managers, artist you will find the same post on all the different fourms. Thats dedication. taking the time to not only register at all the different places but to also keep returning and logining in and then copying and pasting posts from other forums. In the end its a huge waste of time .
Not only for the member doing this but also the people reading this having to navigate to other areas where they arent reading the same stuff.
I would be glad to pay money for this addition or to anyone who can tell me how I can make this happen .
