I want to place a Leaderboard ad above the message index and above the topic just above the Mark Reed and Notify buttons.  I am using bluex theme.

Can anybody tell me which files to edit and where to put the script.  I tried to edit MessageIndex.Template.php for putting ad above the message index, but got template parse error.

Please advice me which files to edit and where to put the code.

Manual installation worked for me.  Ads are left aligned and I want them to be center aligned.  How can I do this?

For that you would want to ask the mod author. I am afraid I can't say BUT it it is probably a combination of <center> tags.
