converting from vBulletin to SMF

Hi to every:
Before all, my apolgies if this is not the best forum to post this. I have installed a vBulletin 3.5.4 and I need to pass every I have in there to my new SMF 1.1 RC2. I try to use converter found here: http://www.simplemachines.org/download/?converters but it show me this error:

The installation of SMF in the path you specified is not a version this converter can deal with. If it is older than SMF 1.0, you need to upgrade first. If it is newer, you need to use a different converter.

What I'm doing wrong?

there's two convertors there for vBulletin. did you make sure to use the vBulletin 3 convertor? (http://www.simplemachines.org/download/index.php?thanks;filename=vbulletin3_to_smf.php)

I have the same problem, and yes I am using the vbulletin 3 converter
