bug or install error? Undefined index: theme_template_error

I also get an error similar to that one:

Notice: Undefined index: display_recent_bar in \forums\Sources\BoardIndex.php on line 333

as well as several others all over the forum
This is after a fresh upgrade from YaBBSE 1.5.5
A clean install seems to work correctly, but then when I copy the converted db over from the other I still get the same problem.

Nevermind...
As soon as I modified the settings, the problem miraculously disappeared.
Interesting that manually adding the things it was looking for didn't work when the things it added itself are the same as what I added (to the db, that is)

You were probably adding them to the wrong place, settings are stored in more than a couple places now.

This probably happened because you upgraded from YaBB SE without a Settings.php, right? (rough guess...)

i finally did get my board to work and i've had success with installing several more. i find that with any ftp program, and such a large group of files as this, you need to sit and watch it upload.. and make sure it all gets uploaded. i finally uploaded about 9 times and got it working.

worth it though.
