Anyone? I've done a search on the forum and can't find anything or it won't let me search. Please, can anyone tell me what this means?^^

H

This means the user has decided to hide their actions when they logged in

How do they do that? I am the admin in the forum? I thought the only way to hide was to be hidden but not from admin. I don't like that and how can I stop it?

Elmacik

No, members cant hide what they are doing from the admin.
But if they are doing an action thats not defined (for example merging topics) so you see them doing unknown action.
Also mods will cause this. For example writing a karma description is an unknown action.

Then this is mystifying. No one is allowed to merge or move topics but me. And we have Karma disabled. I don't understand this. It's happened twice and I'm a bit worried.

Ok basically this means that they are looking a a topic that doesn't even exists or something to that matter.  For example if they do http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=010101010101010101 it will show as nothing or nothing that you can see.  This has been discussed in the past also.

Yes right, but when even a guest tries, only tries to browse this URL: /index.php?action=admin you will see that guest in the online list as "Administrating the forum" but that time guest will be viewing the login screen. Thats th trick.
And as Jay said, there are several topics about this subject.

Thank you so much for putting my mind at ease.  :)That makes perfect sense. I did a search but it came back with nothing to show. And then when I'd try to use a different phrase, the search feature wouldn't work for me. I'll try it again to see if I can find the other post. Thanks again!!
