Not just IE, it crashed my Firefox on Fedora, unlike junky Windows which made my entire system unresponsive though, only the Firefox instance became unresponsive.

It was curiosity that got the better of me , besides it only says don't open it from the boardindex.

You use enough moves and big enough fonts and you're going to crash any browser.  One of the reasons I want to remove move.
