RC2 Modified my site's css

Greetings,

I just install SMF rc2 with the bridge to joomla.. However, the rc2's style sheet has altered my font and background on the rest of the site.. I chose to install it nonwrapped because when I trid wrapped it took me always to a blank page..

I took some styles from my joomla's theme page and pasted it to the SMF theme's site.. My site came back with the old fonts but now SMF does not look too pretty...

What is the process to either have SMF follow my style sheet from Joomla or to keep the two styles separate?
