can't login after bridge

After bridging SMF and Coppermine, what should happen when I try to login in coppermine?

The reason I ask is that when I try to login in coppermine (even though I am logged in in SMF, when I go to the gallery it shows me as not logged in), it displays the SMF login screen, and after I enter the login info it takes me to SMF instead of directing me to the gallery.

Any help with this would be appreciated, as it is now I cannot login as an admin neither as a member.

I am wondering if this has anything to do with the version I am running, I got into the admin of SMF and I saw the warning about the update, but when I click the link (for the update), I get this error msg:

My problem with loggin in has been fixed. I turned on "subdomain independent cookies".

On version 1.06, that's under admin/edit features and options

Now I cannot log out, but I will start another topic about it.
