Write only forums

I'm sure I saw at a time that I could make a write only forum, but now I can't seem to find where to pull it off. I think perhaps I saw it in the 1.0.8 version. Ain't it possible in RC3?

Could you please elaborate on exactly what you mean by "write only"? Are you sure you don't mean "read only"?

I want to have a forum in witch a moderator can write a topic and all others can read it and post replies but can't see others replay.

Turno on local permission for forum and then set which usergroups can post new topics and reply to existing topics. Allow moderator to post topics and everyone else to be able just to reply.

That will only solve part of the issue. Everyone will still be able to read all the replies. You will want to look at some mod or code hack for the other part. Search and see if this has already been solved, and if not go ask over on the coding board.
