member not receiving email...

I have a member who changed her email address in her profile. I've checked it and it looks changed to me. The problem is, whenever I send her a private message it still goes to her old email address. We've been playing with it for over a month now and she is still not receiving emails at the address provided in her profile.

Any idea why?

She has a forward or something on her mail?

Does the same apply for other members of your forum?

She got a whole new email address so she wants to get rid of her old one but that's the one (old one) her messages keep going to. No one else has this problem so I really think it must be her computer or at least on her end.

Any ideas?

The guest that is having the email problems has signed up to receive a notice should anyone post a reply to a message that she is watching. She is not receiving those either. So she gets no email what so ever from my message boards......

SMF sends email to the address in the user's profile. Tell her to try changing it again (even if she thinks it's correct). Keep in mind that she will have to enter her password to change this.

Does this user know how to check her Spam/Junk Mail folder (her email provider may be classifying forum mail as such and she'd have to 'whitelist' the forum's 'From:' address).

Ok so I went in and changed the users email address to one that I use (that is not used on my boards anywhere). I still don't receive any messages at my address when using her account.

This is very strange. I've looked all over her account and don't see anywhere that indicated that she shouldn't receive emails. I'm so confused!
