SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC3
Just a heads up that after the migration, a few bugs were noticed:

1)  All Existing passwords were changed/removed, so users have to get a new password via Forget Password (-- weight:  Trivial).

2)  All PM Inboxes shows "1 New Message" when there is none.  And we have to click "Prune Messages" to fix it.  When doing this, it leaves 1 line of space in the "Labels" section where the bolded (1) used to appear.

More info about this:  The 1 New Message appears as (1) besides the Inbox, and My Message links.  As well as in the "Labels" section, it appears as a bold (1) when there is no Labels called (1) or a new message.

3)  For some reason, PMs from our old IPB2.0 (Trial) wasn't migrated.

4)  Membergroups were moved correctly "but" the members were all moved together into 1 group instead of their original membergroups.

That's all.

:D

UPDATE:

Btw, I'm not sure if this will help, but I've seen other apps interfacing with IPB's member table (and converters for that matter) who were using the old IPB1 table.

IPB2.0 (Trial)'s password are now stored in Column "member_login_key" of table "ipb_members".

Then these tables and columns may be important as well:
ipb_members_converge  - columns "converge_pass_hash" and "converge_pass_salt"

IPB Converge "login" uses the account's "email address" as oppose to using the username.  IPB's converge hash and salt maybe a combination of the email address and password, so it may not work with SMF.

Now for the table ipb_members, IPB1 used to use the column "legacy_password", it still exists in IPB2 but it is empty, now that IPB2 upgraded coding of passwords, they moved everything to the column "member_login_key" which is only available for IPB2.x.

Hope that helps.

1. SMF does check for the password encryption method used by IPB 2, but this may not work if you upgraded from an older version of IPB. Those converge_ columns are probably what we need to use, so I'll look into that...

2. This is a known issue with most of the converters. We are working to get updated converters on the downloads page. For now, run this query in phpMyAdmin:

UPDATE smf_pm_recipients SET labels='-1';

3. Not sure why this happened. I'll look into it.

4. What column is this information stored in in the members table?

Thanks for the report. For whatever reason, we've had a lot of issues with bugs in the converters, but we are working on trying to fix the issues, so it's always good to know what works and what doesn't.

4. -> It's in table ipb_members column mgroup
