Hi,

1) is it possible to add own BBCodes?
2) Is it possible to have different groups? "User 1 and 2" are in group: football "user 2 and 3" are in group "hockey" etc..


Just want to know if it possible.

Hi, welcome to SMF.

Yes, both are possible.

1- The BBC code is defined in Subs.php and you can add additional BBC tags to that array. Adding buttons varies depending on which version SMF you are using.

2 - Not a coding question. So a bit easier to accomplish. In the Admin CP >> Membergroups you can add additional membergroups. Then you can assign that group to an individual in their profile. Also for SMF 2.0 you have additional options for how members can join that group.
