Problem installing mods

I am having trouble installing mods. Any one that I try it says it is corrupt not for this version or it goes on for ftp info. After ftp info i get "501 Invalid number of arguments."

Version Information:
Forum version: SMF 1.1
Current SMF version: SMF 1.1

I cannot any mod whatsoever!!!

Any Ideas?

you have to use mods that support smf 1.1 final cause mods for other version could not work with smf 1.1

Croco thanks for the reply but I am using the mod versions intended for my smf.

But still the same situation.

Anybody have any opinions.

Create a folder inside the package folder called temp and chmod it to 777
Make sure all your files are chmod to 777
If that still doesn't work, tell us what it says in the error log when you go to install mods.
