Calendar mod request....

Ok...I've seen a lot of requests about having multiple calendars, but what about calendars which have different categories which an event can be assigned to?

My motivation for this would be having multiple basketball teams using a calendar for practice and game schedules.

Admin:
Create a category.
Assign a color to it, maybe a style change (bold, italics)
Assign a permission to it (by membergroup).  The permission can be simple like stating whether or not it's a private event vs. a public event.

Create an event.
Assign a category to it.  Make the categories check boxes so an event can printed to multiple categories at once.  (Say two teams practice at the same time)


Users:
Allow them to see all the events they are permitted to see, which are variable by color or style change.
Allow them to filter all the events they are permitted to see via check box.  So if EventsA and EventsB are public events, a user can just opt to view EventsA events.

SSI:
Allow SSI to call up and echo events by category


Certainly among all the highly talented coders on here who deal with Mods can develop a solution for this?  It would be Google-ese.
