Hey Orstio - OpenSEF breaks da Bridge

OpenSEF is VERY naughty!

After activating OpenSEF (which is pretty much required if you ever want PR on Google :) ), SMF will no longer allow users to post messages. Attempting to do so simply returns the user to the main forum page.

Definitely need a workaround for this, even if it's a temporary hack. I've had to separate the forum from the main site for now in order to get the forum to work.

The client thinks I'm incompetent now - but I told them it was Orstio who was incompetent. Bad news is the client is the mob and now they've hired out a hit on Orstio. My bad.

The SMF forum is their prime resource for managing their prostitutes and money laundering - so it's for a good cause.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any help at all :)

I just had to turn off SEF in joomla as well as Artio - both were working fine then all links in the forum returned to the front page.

OpenSEF most certainly does work with Orstio's bridge.  You cannot, however, use an alias UNLESS you have an sef_ext.php file made for Orstio's bridge in the com_smf directory, otherwise you'll have to use Joomla's SEF with the bridge, while OpenSEF will use content filled urls with content items.
