Most Recent Posts

Hi all I'm new to SMF and forum software. I really like how this community forum shows the 5 most recent posts in a list manner on the main page of the forum. I've been searching through the forum settings on our site but can't see how you turn that on. Does anyone know how to set this up? Thanks.
