Recent topics module - odd behaviour

Hi folks, I have been using the most up to date module for showing recent topics, I have removed the date and forum name from the output of the module but left everything else the same. the problem is the module only displays the last topic/post only, not the specified amount in the modules parameters. Have any of you seen this or had this before and if so how on earth do I make it work..??

Use the latest version, 1.3a, which corrected the issue you mentioned.
