My Forum is YabbSE 1.4.1!

Hi All,

My Forum is YabbSE 1.4.1.
All of a sudden something is scrambling users' passwords!  I feel it's better to upgrade.

Can you please redirect me or tell me how shall I proceed. I do not want to loose all the threads currently in my forum.

Upgrading from YaBB SE 1.4.1 is a bit harder than from YaBB SE 1.5.5, but you can still do it.

Go to http://www.yabbse.org and follow the link to the sourceforge site. Download the 1.5.5 upgrade package, upload upgrade.php to your forum directory and run it from your browser. This will convert everything to YaBB SE 1.5.5. Then, just follow the standard upgrade procedures by downloading the upgrade package from the downloads page. There's an installation guide posted around here somewhere, so just do a search for it.
