The Package Manager install of the Patch run OK (No errors) but the Installed Version shown in Admin Page and Footer is still 1.1? If I try to re-install the patch it says its already installed. The Version check shows OLD versions.

I did apply some HACKS to the 1.1.1 code?

Installed List:

SMF 1.1.2 Update Package|^|smf_1-1-2_patch_2.tar.gz|^|smf:smf_1-1-2|^|1.1.2

Anything I can check to see what went wrong?

Hi,

Something similar has happened on my board, with a little twist.

I upgraded to version 1.1.2 not long after it was released and all has been sweet up until this morning. Now when I go into the admin panel, its telling me I am running version 1.1.1. even though the update patch is shown in the packages installed  ???. The version at the bottom of the page now also displays 1.1.1.

This is what I see in the admin section when clicking on "more details" for the upgrade

Sorry for the huge file list  :(.

The last thing I installed before I noticed this was the K detection addon, it also does not have an uninstall link.

Any ideas?

Would it be safe to apply the upgrade again, or will it most likely trash everything?

Mick.

Is this issue solved or do you still require assistant?

If it does look like files have been upgraded such as MadMick's case. You can just tweak the version number yourself in the index.php

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, I have been meaning to get back here but have been stuck in bed sick  :(.

My issue was caused by installing the K-Detection mod, and it, for some strange reason, changed the version number in my index.php.

To fix, all I did was search my index.php for 1.1.1 and edited that to say 1.1.2 and all was sweet  :D.

I did check all the file versions with another install before doing this so I knew that all the files had been updated to 1.1.2.

Thanks guys.
Regards,

Mick.
