Using 1.1.2 with mods, do I need a Large upgrade? Error!

Hi,

Using 1.1.2 with mods, do I need a Large upgrade? After browsing the Large upgrade smf_1-1-3_update.tar.gz and clicked on upload I have a white page! When I then try to go to the packages I have a white page! Please help me!

No, you don''t need the large upgrade package. You can apply the patch through the package manager, or if that won''t work, then grab the small update package and try to upgrade your forum manually

Thanks for your replay.
But I can't access package manager any more, I get blank page!

You are welcome. Do you get any error message at all except the blankness?
Try the manual upgrade then

I have no errors in logs. Still can't access packages manager..

I can take a look and see if I can fix the problem, but I would need temporarily acces as an admin at your site and I would need ftp access.

Look, try this. Log in to your ftp client of choise, and go to the directory ''packages''. There you should find the ''Large upgrade smf_1-1-3_update.tar.gz'' that you uploaded earlier through the package manager. Delete it and see if that shoud fix the blank thing with the package manager in your admin panel. If that would be the case, then apply the patch through the package manager. Let me know how it would go

Thank you that solved the problem. But a little problem, when I download the small update from smf download section, I'm getting the smf_1-1-3_upgrade.tar.gz and when I'm downloading the Large update, I'm getting the smf_1-1-3_update.tar.gz
Isn't this strange?

Use manual upgrading.
In your case use Small upgrade.
