Side panel with auto-refreshing replies!

Hi

I have installed a sliding side panel - used to be discussed on this forum somewhere but I can't locate it now - with a few interesting touches.  I have used SSI to create a file that shows the latest replies.  Into the file I have added a silently refreshing page code - no clicking.  I have set it for every 30 seconds so that any replies are automatically updated in the side panel.  Dead easy then to keep an eye on the forum replies without having to manually refresh the forum etc.  I have also added the Flashchat members to the side panel too which also auto-updates.  The side panel has an iframe that loads the auto-refreshing ssi file.  If you want to see it in action then click on Auto-Check Reply Panel (F1) at the top of my forum.  I will show the code for this setup shortly after a little more tweaking and tidying.
