Hi, I was wondering about CB.  If I already have members on my forum, and then I get CB or some bridge, would they have to re-register all over again or would it be a smooth transition?
Also what exactly can you do with CB?  Is there a demo or a list of things.  People seem to be very vague about it.
And also, I know that there is a feature where you can make the SMF go under an article that you write, let's say on a Joomla webpage, sort of like a blog.  I was wondering if I did that, could I make it into a real blog where people can have trackback and Diggz?

Thanks! this forum is great~

Community Builder has absolutely nothing to do with the forum.

CB is a joomla component.

IMO, CB is pointless when you have a bridged forum, since nearly everything done by CB can be done in SMF.

The discussbot (the thing that links joomla articles to SMF posts and responses) is not CB. It is something designed for use with the smf-joomla bridge.

As for blogging... You might get something similar going... but SMF is not a blog, SMF is a forum. If you want a blog, then check out one of the blog softwares...  a few of which have people working on bridges from smf to them.
