Membership Quiz?

Is it possible to have potential members register and then take a quiz and if they pass they have access to the forum. If they fail they are banned forever or a predetermined timeframe.

Does this functionality exist?

There is no function like that with SMF. You would have to request a mod be made. I can move this post for you to a better location.
