Hi, I have Joomla 1.0.12 ,the SMF bridge installed version 1.1.7 with SMF 1.1.2 & Community Builder 1.0.2, I was wondering how to bridge them all together & only needed to register once tru Community Builder Reg.
Everything seems ok when registering a new user, using the Cb login. The account appears to be registered in the Community Builder & also Joomla, but does not appear in the SMF forum.
I've to use the bridge configuration and Migrates the members from "JOOMLA to SMF" but it doesnt automactically migrates when a new user registers, so currently i;ve to click n migrates the members to smf everytime there's a new member.

Can anyone help me with this, i just need it to run on 1 login that can run on Joomla + CB + SMF.

Currently i've set
(the SMF Bridge Configuration to "Use Bridge Registration" & checked the "Also register into CB")
( Global Configuratioin's "Allow User Registration" is set to NO )

And have published the Module for "CB login" & unpublished the "Login Form for SMF & Joomla"

Thanks
Silver

Registration and login are two very different things.

You can use the CB registration, but you must use the bridge login module.

In your list of modules, it will be the one named mod_smf_login.

Hello.

Sorry for jumping onto this post that is over a month dated. This also relates to myself for a site i'm working on.

This person has the exact same versions of software as me:

Joomla
SimpleMachines
SimpleMachines + Joomla Bridge
Community Builder

I'm curious about the registration and log-on.

Now, I understand from reading the previous posts that registration and log-in are totally different.

What I am wondering about is that initially when I setup this site, I had the community builder log-in module move to its own page. Here is the website:
hxxp:www.nuxalknation.org [nonactive]

you can see the initial log-in button at the top. when you click on this it brings you to the community builder log-in page.

i noticed that when i installed the bridge it put the SMF log-in module on the front page. Am i ok to put this in place of where the current community builder log-in is?
