Automated Backups!

I am looking for a system that can send me automated backups through email. But I also need something that could do this:
- Allow me to change how frequent it takes a backup (EX: 1 per day, 1 per week, 1 per month, 1 per year)
- [THIS IS JUST ME THINKING - NOT REQUIRED] If it could be programmed to fix database errors. Some mods I have installed cause errors when trying to import the database and will cause me to have to fix it when I need to import again.
- It cannot be a bandwidth sucker.

I need something easy to put on and detailed instructions.

Have you tried Java SMF Backup who is in download page?

My understanding is that you can't have your base functionality AND have it not suck bandwidth. Also, I don't recommend via email. And this would probably require assistance from your host.

No, I have not tried the Java Backup.

Where else would the backup be placed? I am very limited on my sites space because of all the stuff on my stuff. I am using almost a GB of my storage which is my limit.
